Pre-teens & Teens: Special Events
Our youth often participate in community service
projects such as helping people move, gathering
“care package” supplies for overseas troops, and
visiting the elderly.
Currently our youth are preparing for a “Bible Bowl”
where they will be competing with several other
congregations for verse memorization and content in
the book of Acts. (WE WON FIRST PLACE!)
Every summer, bi-weekly practice begins for the Air
Force Marathon. We compete in the relay race, which
consists of teams of four. Don’t run? Don’t
worry—some of us walk!
We can’t forget to mention all of the additional
times that we get together for sledding, “Capture
the flag,” “Medic,” Football, Volleyball and other
